The Twelve Reflections
The Twelve Reflections are a series of versions of Verail, originally viewed as reflections of the Verail within the Prime Reflection, but later evidence has come to suggest all of them exist equally, perhaps having split at some point in history, or even having their origin in another world which has yet to be discovered. Some remain more alike than others, and some have proven easier to reach than others.
The Prime Reflection[edit | edit source]
Named during a time when the people of this Reflection assumed their own world to be a central original point. Some contention has originated regarding the name as this has proven to likely be false, however it has remained too rooted in the public consensus to be easily changed.
The Twin Reflection[edit | edit source]
The closest to the Prime Reflection, this Reflection has seen a number of major changes throughout history but retains a largely similar society to the Prime Reflection, and it is often possible to find versions of individuals who also exist within the Prime Reflection.
The Desolate Reflection[edit | edit source]
A world that was destroyed long ago and fallen to ruins. The world's environment is harsh, but livable, and many Atrashai have made a home within it. Those residing here often prefer to use the name Awniveth, taken from ancient records that suggest it was the previous civilization's name for their world.
The Lightless Reflection[edit | edit source]
A name that has proven somewhat incorrect, a minimal amount of light still shines upon this world, but the sun is dim and the world is cold. The inhabitants of it are often referred to as Shadows, stemming from an old belief that they were the actual shadows of those within the Prime Reflection.
The Twlight Reflection[edit | edit source]
A world that seems to spend most of its time in a perpetual state of twilight. Plantlife has spread throughout the world, though there is little society, and those that do exist usually prefer to remain hidden.
The Sealed Reflection[edit | edit source]
The last Reflection to be discovered, very little concrete information exists about the world that lies within. It is believed to hold a somewhat similar society, perhaps even one that has existed far longer. Most information known about it however suggests that this world may be home to the Gods To Which Gods Kneel, and that it may in fact be a recreation of something they once knew.
